For Valentine’s Day, HBO is airing “The Loving Story.” The film centers on the unlikely (but beautiful) union between Richard and Mildred Loving. She was black and American Indian; he was white. They dared to marry. Their fight to stay together led to the Supreme Court’s landmark 1967 decision to decriminalize interracial marriage in America.
