"you live by desire, then manage life’s constraints."
I saw parts of Frederick Wiseman’s 1968 documentary,”High School,” during a long-form treatment class in college. Seeing old film brought back to life in”The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975” and previews of Wiseman’s latest project, “Crazy Horse,” piqued my interest in his classic. Gonna make it a goal to see “High School” in its entirety soon.
(I’m doubly intrigued by Mr. Wiseman’s work because he produced “State Legislature,” a look at the 2004 Idaho session. Since that’s where I earned my political journalism stripes, the film has a special place in my heart.)
